LG Electronics has official announced the launch of its flagship dual-core smartphone in multiple European countries this month, the LG P990 Optimus 2X, which was introduced in late 2010.

The LG Optimus 2X P990 smartphone is sports a 4-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA), 8-megapixel camera with recording Full HD (1080p) video, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 8GB flash drive, DLNA support, MicroSD / MicroSDHC memory card slot (up to 32GB), front-facing camera for video calls, a gyroscope, an accelerometer and an HDMI connector.

LG P990 Optimus 2X smartphone is boasts two 1GHz Cortex-A9 nVidia Tegra 2 dual-core CPU and runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS (will be upgraded to Android 2.3 Gingerbread)
