Toshiba announces its first 3D Blu-ray Player namely, BDX3100KB which provides full HD 1920x1080p 3D output. It supports a wide selection of media formats such as image, video and audio files in MKV, DivX, HD-JPEG and MP3 formats and is capable of translating AVCHD-compressed footage. The BDX3100KB features an USB 2.o port, the Dolby TrueHD, DS-HD master Audio, the BD-Live (Profile 2.0) and the Bonus view. The Toshiba BDX3100KB 3D Blu-ray player also played back blu-ray movies at 24 frames per second.

The BDX3100KB Blu-ray 3D Player includes REGZA-LINK (HDMI-CEC) technology which allows users to control BDX3100KB 3D Blu-ray player and compatible TV sets with a single remote control and it also reproducing high quality audio to a maximum of 7.1 channels. The BDX3100KB Blu-ray 3D Player will be available in coming October but its price is no yet announced.
