Toshiba announced to launch Alu2 Series portable Hard drives which features 2.5 inch based external hard disk drives, USB 2.0 powered for portability, and Internal shock sensor. Toshiba Alu2 series hard drives are available in different capacities such as 500 GB1 and 1TB1. It also provides an option for complete system back up as well as enables users to restore select files.

The Toshiba Alue2 series 500 GB portable hard drive comes in Silver and Bronze colors while 1TB portable hard drive comes in Black color. The Toshiba Alue2 series 500 GB and 1TB portable harddrive will be available in next month but prices are not yet announced.
