General Electric (GE) has introduced DV1 Mini HD camcorder which is up to 5 meter waterproof, 1.5 meter shockproof and dust-proof. It can capture or record full HD 1080p video as well as can store recorded video on an SD/SDHC memory card which can be expandable up to 32GB. The DV1 mini HD camcorder has 2.5-inch LCD screen, 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, built-in USB arm etc. Still images can be taken through the camcorder at a speed of 7.3 frames per second.

The DV1 mini HD camcorder’s allows to take pictures at the same time recording video. The GE DV1 mini HD camcorder will be available in October,2010 in gray, green, and orange color. But there is no information about its pricing yet.
